My Face Is on Fire is a blog (with an associated podcast) which focuses on abolitionist vegan education, animal rights issues and the misrepresentation of veganism in pop culture or mainstream media.
Number of animals killed in the world by the meat, dairy and egg industries, since you opened this webpage. This does not include the billions of fish and other aquatic animals killed annually.

I bet most of these people have heard of PETA though.
Which would only help explain why they don't know what 'vegan' means.
Exactly : )
I'm certainly no proponent of weight-loss veganism, but it does look suspicious that all the people who don't know what "vegan" means are, errrrrrr, how shall I put this......well-rounded?
Cute clip, but it seems skewed in favor of non-native English speakers, who possibly couldn't be expected to know a somewhat uncommon word like "vegan."
That's the point to be emphasized here: probably ALL of these people know of PETA and equate PETA with 'animal rights', but have never heard of the word vegan. PETA is the worst phenomenon ever to happen to veganism and animal rights.
I love the older gentleman, early on, who seems to be confusing "vegan" with "vulva." (i.e., "Is that a woman?" - what else might he be referencing!?)
