MIA

I haven't been updating here much for the past while because my heart hasn't really been in it. I've been spending most of my time gawking at my rapidly growing heirloom tomatoes and trying to figure out the same old stuff most silly humans spend time trying to figure out when life events alter their respective courses. I've been avoiding the news -- a good brain break that reminds me of some of the reasons I ditched cable TV two years ago. I hope to pick up the pace again over the next few weeks.

Hey, don't feel bad M, we all need a break. Brett and I have had to have a "news hiatus" too, watching Democracy Now! and reading Common Dreams everyday, while also researching peak oil and such, well, it just really started to get to us.

You can't be all serious all the time.

I hope your garden is moving along well, heirloom tomatoes sound fantastic!

I heard on yesterday's Democracy Now! (I think it was yesterday's podcast) that one of the Common Dreams co-founders recently died of cancer.

I took some pictures of the garden this week. I'll try to post them when I get home. I hope yours is doing well!
