How to Make Your Own Almond Milk from Scratch

  1. I make my own as well and love it. What I do different is that I boil it (and sometimes forget it on the stove) and add a pinch of salt to it for taste. Sometimes I add vanilla or cocoa and sugar. And more recently, I added a pinch of corn starch for a thicker texture.

  2. How long do you store it in your fridge? I worry about making almond milk with anything but organic almonds, thanks to the recent reading I've been doing. That could get costly. I wonder how hard it would be to actually grow almonds...
