Keith Olbermann on California's Prop 8 and on Marriage in General
Keith Olbermann comments quite passionately on marriage and hate, in response to the passing of California's Proposition 8, which rescinded the right of same-sex couples to marry in that state.
Wow. WOW! That was AMAZING! I don't even know who that guy is but...man, that brought tears to my eyes and I never would have suspected such a thing could happen. Thank you, thank you for sharing.
Olbermann certainly knows how to express himself. I really hope that he hit home with some viewers who needed to do some thinking about their prejudice.
I'm happy that people like Keith Olbermann are on the mainstream media, it is nice that "mainstream" folks are hearing something passionate - and quite different - than what they hear anywhere else. That is a huge part of the problem here - the "differences" between the media aren't great - they just harp on different details, but they all fail by way of omission and not talking about the important issues of our time.
